Undo Changes on Your WordPress Post / Page

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

Everyone makes mistakes, and sometimes that leads to important content getting overwritten on your WordPress site.

Luckily WP has a built-in feature to restore your old page version, and undo unwanted changes. It’s called Revisions.

So if you ever need to revert back to an old version of your Post / Page, just find the box that says revisions. Is it not showing up? Well try pressing the Screen Options button, and then checking Revisions so it actually shows up.

This will allow you to check out the previous versions of your site, and undo any unwanted changes on the fly. This one can be a real life saver, so remember to share it with your friends who also have WP sites!
